Music to Contemplate Protista By is a multimedia project produced by Joanna Ebenstein for the K48 Now Playing Show at D'Amelio Terras Gallery in New York, a show wherein artists were asked to create "artist's mixed CDs."

Music to Contemplate Protista By included 2 CDs, one with music conducive to the contemplation of protista, the other with a slide show of images. It also included a 16 page booklet about how cool protista are and why. Also found in each package were 3 or more acetate radiolarian "action figures."
